The crawler behind the free MRK SEO Audit tool. This page explains what it is, how to identify it, and how to allow it through a firewall so your audit is accurate.
MRK-SEO-AuditBot fetches a web page only when someone runs an SEO audit of that page using our tool. It is not a continuous, always-on crawler — it visits on demand, reads the HTML to score your SEO / GEO / AEO readiness, and (for a full-site audit) requests a small number of pages listed in your sitemap. It does not submit forms, log in, or collect personal data.
The bot sends this User-Agent on every request:
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MRK-SEO-AuditBot/1.0; +https://mohibraiskhan.com/seo-audit-bot)Requests come from the audit tool's server. If you run an audit and see a “Just a moment…” / security-check result, your firewall blocked the bot before it reached your real page — the steps below fix that.
